WATCH OUT!

Out Police Community Support Officer has advised that there has been a recent spate of thefts in the area. A number of sheds/out buildings have been broken into and electric/battery powered garden tools have been stolen. Please be alert and ensure that your out buildings are well secured and remember to check the contents regularly.

FLOODING RELIEF WORKS

Discussions are continuing with SODC and Environment Agency on continued maintenance of the stream downstream of Blewbury Road. SODC should be able to perform a twice-yearly cut on the lower channel. A Tadley residents Group has been formed to monitor the stream and carry out more frequent minor maintenance.

DOG FOULING

The dog bins around the village, including the new ones, are being well used so thank you to all you dog owners who are cleaning up after your pets. Remember that plastic bags are available in the Village Shop. In spite of these good efforts there is still a lot of fouling on footpaths and pavements around the village. Please keep up the great effort and encourage other dog owners to follow your good example. Our aim is that all footpaths and roads in the Parish should be clean and smell free.
