ANNUAL PARISH MEETING: 22nd April 2010 in the Village Hall. Commencing at 19.30hrs
Following Meetings: 18th March, 13th May (AGM), 17th June, 22nd July, 2nd September, 14th October and 18th November.

All Parish Council meetings will commence at 7.30 pm on Thursdays in the Village Hall.

EAST HAGBOURNE PARISH PLAN

At the end of 2008 many of you completed a survey questionnaire to help shape a Parish plan for East Hagbourne. The questionnaires have now been analysed and a summary report can be found on the village web site at http://www.easthagbourne.net/village/parishplan.shtml

Guided by the questionnaire responses, the Parish Council is working on a draft plan under the following headings

2. East Hagbourne in Context (Brief history and description)
3. A Vibrant Community (What goes on)
4. Our vision for the future
5. Responding to Urban Growth
6. Communications (Parish magazine, newsletters, web site)
7. Road Safety
8. Footpaths
9. Vandalism and Anti-Social Behaviour
10. Dog Fouling and Litter
11. Sustainability and Environment
12. Education and young people
13. Church and Community
14. Sports and Leisure Facilities
15. Shops and Services
16. Conclusions

We urge you to read the survey report and to us send your comments, particularly on any topics which do not seem to be appropriately included. Once the plan is drafted, it will be posted on the web site for further comment.

An important date for your diaries: the draft plan will be reviewed at our Annual Parish Meeting on 22nd April. This is your meeting, so please come along.
