Let’s Make our Village Sparkle!

Image of the village sign post and flowers
We, on the Parish Council, are very aware of the many people who contribute to keeping our parish looking good, by picking litter, cutting the grass and generally looking after their own gardens and frontage as well as wider afield, including our allotments, footpaths and public spaces.
However, some areas are looking a little worn and we feel it is time to give the village a sensitive make-over to keep it looking good into the future.  Key elements to address are: those areas of pavements and roadways that are worn, tackling debris and weeds in road gutters, and keeping road drains and the stream clear and flowing.
During 2019 we will be giving thought to what we can do as villagers ourselves, and what additional resources we can bring to bear with the help of OCC and SODC.
Please see the document :
We can all be part of this effort, but we would welcome people to be more closely involved – please contact the Clerk or any Councillor if you are interested!
