Hagbourne Garden Club visit
Lower Bowden Manor, Bowden Green, Pangbourne, Berkshire RG8 8JL. Wednesday afternoon 5th June at 3.00pm
‘A 7 acre designers garden with stunning views’. The manor garden was featured in The English Garden and the emphasis in this garden is on form and structure and unusual shrubs. The visit includes a guided tour of about 1 to 1 ½ hours by the head gardener or owner. His wife Juliet who is a retired garden designer and moving spirit behind LBM’s renewal, will answer questions after the visit during tea. Tea is served on the terrace with homemade cakes.
The cost of the visit is £14 pp in total, this includes £9 for admission and tea at £5 pp which is a contribution to the NGS.
