Folk at the Fleur
The Folk Night at the Fleur (every third Weds) has become a regular well attended event and attracts many people within the parish and further afield. We also meet every first Wednesday again in the Fleur and this time, we concentrate on popular music and songs.

Anyone can join in or bring a songbook and do one of your favourites. The regular musicians and singers would appreciate extra copies of the words and chords, so we are not all crowded around one copy. It’s great fun and a chance to stroll down memory lane. Beware, electric guitars are sometimes used! See you there.
An informal music, song, recital session in the folk tradition at the bar end of the Fleur de Lys pub normally starts around 9 pm. Everyone welcome and it’s free! Contact Geoff or Linda (817891) for further information.
Everyone is welcome to come along and watch or join in. If you can sing a bit or play a bit but feel a bit nervous, Linda and I would be glad to meet with you to help you practice one or two numbers beforehand. It doesn’t have to be folk music incidentally.
What better than fine music, wonderful atmosphere, and supping your favourite tipple? It really is a great regular event for the village.
