The Hagbournes & Upton Group for Sustainability (HUGS) was set up in 2020 to support local nature and encourage us all to live more sustainable lives.

The group covers the three parishes of East Hagbourne, West Hagbourne and Upton.

Didcot Plus

Didcot Plus provides a wide range of activities for people aged 18 – 35 through both our events and those of other groups. We are a member of the National Federation of Plus Areas, a nationwide organisation of around 40 groups.

Environment Group

Hagbourne Environment Group was set up in 1997 with the objective to look after the natural areas in the parish and try to improve them where possible, both for wildlife and for local people. From 2021, the group has been absorbed into the Hagbournes and Upton Group for Sustainability - please refer to the HUGS entry for more details.
