The 2016 Hagbourne Fun Run was once again a great event, and the Committee have received loads of complimentary feedback. It seemed like everyone from the village was there or working behind the scenes. Thanks to all the participants, all the many helpers, and to our sponsors The Fleur-de-Lys.
We will be publishing a full report in a week or two, when we have had time to finalise details of amounts raised for our two charities, Cancer Research UK and the East & West Hagbourne Village Fund – all of the Committee have full-time jobs, so we need a bit of time to catch our breath!
This year was a pilot for our new electronic results system, so we have delayed the full list of times until we had double-checked them. There may be one or two glitches we haven’t ironed out (for example where the entry forms were unclear), but we hope next year will be even better.
