Entry drop off 9:00-11:00am | Show from 2:00-4:00pm

THE CATEGORIES
All home grown or homemade
FRUIT
- Apples, pears, plums: 4 of one variety
- Bunch of grapes
- Nuts: 3 of one variety
- Berries: 8 of one variety
VEGETABLES
- Potatoes, carrots, beetroot, beans, peas, onions, tomatoes (with calyx): 4 of one variety; or a truss of tomatoes
- Courgettes, leeks, beetroot, chillies, peppers: 3 of one variety
- Aubergines, squash, garlic, cucumber: 2 of one variety
- New Category. Longest runner bean!
FLOWERS
- Flower arrangements in vases:
Combined or single varieties - Specimen blooms (eg roses):
single bloom - Flower arrangement in an unusual container
- Miniature vase arrangement
POT PLANTS
- Foliage indoor plant
- flowering indoor plant
- succulent or cactus
MIXED HERBS
- Up to 6 varieties in a container
ARTS/CRAFTS
- Anything (portable!) paintings, models, photos, craft items, knitting, crochet, pottery etc
BAKING
- Traybake (brownies, cakes etc)
- 5 cupcakes |
- 5 decorated biscuits

PRESERVES
- Jar of homemade jam, honey, marmalade, chutney or jelly
EGGS
- Nest of 4 home laid chicken eggs
CHILDREN (UNDER 11)
- Animal vegetable (any vegetables constructed to make an animal); celebrity vegetable; miniature garden on a plate; any arts and crafts
HOW TO ENTER
Entry is free!
All entries must be home grown or homemade
Bring entries to Hagbourne Village Hall between 9-11am. If you have lots of entries, please come earlier at 8.30am.
No Entry Forms needed!
JUDGING & CUPS
- 1st, 20ª and 3’° prizes awarded
- Cup for the best entry in each category
- Community Award Cup for a person who has made a major contribution to the community
DONATIONS
If a profit is made, a donation will be made to a local community group or charity
