This year’s St Andrew’s Christmas Tree Festival will take place from the evening of Friday 8^th December to Saturday 16th December.

Proceeds from this year’s festival will be split between St Andrew’s Church and Helen & Douglas House – a local hospice for children living with life-limited and terminal conditions and their families.

We have 30 beautiful Christmas Trees inside the church available for local  ‘Tree Angels’ to decorate. Hopefully, you will be one of them! Our optional decoration theme for church trees this year is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’.  As always, your tree will be subject to the public’s scrutiny and votes and the favourite will receive the TreeFest trophy which will be announced at the finale on the afternoon of Saturday 16th December. As has been the custom in recent years, we are also offering villagers in both Hagbournes the chance to join in the festival by placing one of our live, 4ft Norwegian Spruce Christmas Trees in their front gardens and lighting it up for the duration of the festive period.  This is a tradition that we started during the pandemic and has proved so popular that we have continued it ever since.
