ClubFest details

As part of the Village Hall Centenary Celebrations, the public of East and West Hagbourne are invited to pop in to the hall in order to find out how they can join in with all the different happenings and non-profit organisations in our villages. This will also be a great opportunity for non-profit groups to talk to potential new members and helpers as they browse the many table-top pitches, and enjoy the tea and cakes. Sorry, it is not intended as an event for advertising businesses or fee-paid lessons, but we are happy to mention those in the printed programme, so please get in touch anyway.

If you would like to reserve one of those tables for your club or group then please complete the sign-up form and register with us before March 10th. You can download the sign-up form from this webpage.

Space may be limited so best not to delay.

SHARING THE JOY OF NATURE AND ART TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Reports of doom and disaster resulting from climate change and biodiversity loss are common and can cause feelings of powerlessness. However, we do all have power to act as individuals and communities to make a difference. Sharing our stories and our joy of nature allows us to reconnect with nature, across our community and beyond.

At its February 2024 meeting, Council adopted a Climate and Biodiversity Strategy that will guide how we achieve this.

  • through sustainable management of our own operations, public land and property.

Image of a green and white bus

A new timetable for the 94 bus service comes into effect from 26th November. It adds a new 94A service linking us to the Astons and Moretons. East Hagbourne will have slightly fewer direct buses to Didcot, but a more regular return service. Harwell Campus will still be connected on weekdays by a morning/evening service. You can see the full timetable below.

From January 2024, the 94A service will be extended to the Didcot schools at school start/finish times. We will post further details when they are available.
