Thank you to every one, who made yesterday’s church fete a success. We are still awaiting a grand total, we are very luck to have such supportive East and West hagbourne villagers.

Funding of the Pavillion car park

There is an important decision over a loan for the funding of the Pavillion car park at this week’s Parish Council Meeting (Thursday at the Pavillion at 19:30).

Bowls for the over 60’s

Learn to Bowl in East Hagbourne. Hagbourne Bowling Club are delighted to be part of the GO for GOLD activities and will be running a ‘Learn to Bowl’ course for the over 60’s.

Fun Run / Walk – 2016 Results

The 2016 Hagbourne Fun Run was once again a great event, and the Committee have received loads of complimentary feedback. It seemed like everyone from the village was there or working behind the scenes. Thanks to all the participants, all the many helpers, and to our sponsors The Fleur-de-Lys.

In celebration of British Pie Week (yes, really!) the Village Shop is delighted to be able to announce that we will now be stocking a range of delicious pies to suit every taste.

East Hagbourne’s Neighbourhood Plan is under way and will cover the whole of East Hagbourne parish. The Plan will consider many aspects of parish life and when complete will have influence over planning decisions and development.

New Green Cap Consultation

Grainger Plc has submitted revised plans for their proposed development on The Green Gap. Consequently, SODC has opened up a new consultation inviting comments on these plans.
